Our Vision & Brief info on us:

To Provide the youth of Dutchess County the opportunity to learn & compete in the various traditional sports of Ireland; Gaelic Football, Hurling, & Camogie. Through these endeavors, we look to build a community & culture for "all things Irish," including but not limited to; the Irish Language, Dance, and Music.  Whether you're Irish by birth, Irish by descent, or Irish in spirit, we have something for everybody!

We are located in Tymor Park, in the Town of Union Vale where all practices &  home games are hosted. The Dutchess County GAA is affiliated with the New York GAA and The New York GAA Minor Board (NYMB). Our youth and men's Gaelic Football teams compete in their regular seasons within these organizations, as well with challenge matches againast GAAs affiliated with other organizations (US GAA, Boston GAA, etc.). Gaelic Football is a true test of athletic ability, combining skills required mostly from Soccer, with Basketball, and a bit of physicality. However, Gaelic Football is not rugby, and there is absolutely no tackling!

We are currently gradually introducing the sport of Hurling to our youth and adult members, but currently do not have our own hurling teams. Please reach out to us if you are seeking an avenue to compete in hurling at the youth or adult levels.
